Our team provides general contracting and construction management services that specialize in commercial construction for both ground-up construction and renovation work. The collective experience of the Caisson team involves construction projects varying in size and dollar value, that range from $10,000 small fit-outs to $10,000,000 ground-up projects. Caisson has contracted projects using the traditional lump sum, construction management, GMP and design/build delivery systems. Our team is well networked in the construction field as well as in the business community, and is currently licensed to do business throughout the New England States.

Bruce Jaffin - President and Founder
Bruce has over 35 years of experience in all facets of construction and has held positions as a licensed Superintendent, Project Manager, Director of Construction, Vice President of Business Development, and President during his long and established career. He holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, an MBA in accounting and Finance, the ABC license for the City of Boston and the MA superintendant license. He has also received his LEED AP accreditation and was instrumental in assisting with the first Massachusetts LEED automobile dealership receiving its Silver LEED award. Bruce was also on the Board of Directors of the AGC Open Shop Counsel and continues to grow with the ever changing construction industry.
Steve Lamb - Chief Estimator and Project Executive
Steve passion is that of a Construction Estimator and has held that position for over 30 years with several high profile construction companies in the Greater Boston area. His depth of experience involves both in private industry (Hotels, Churches, Science labs, Hospitals, commercial buildings) and public construction (Fire Stations, Schools, DCAM and federal work) Steve's knowledge base of construction costs has been paramount to his success in the industry. Mr. Lamb's specialty is that of conceptual estimating and his level of detail and accuracy has been the mainstay to Caisson's repeat business. He holds a BS in Management.
Karen Henry - Controller
For the past 25 years, Karen has been working in the construction field in all aspects of construction accounting from payroll clerk to that of Controller for several companies. She is well versed in all variations of computer software including, but not limited to Computer Guidance, Business Works, Sage Contractor100, Microsoft excel and windows. Karen's strengths are that of timely and thorough GMP requisitions to clients with all supporting documentation, job costing and balancing monthly financials. Her client relationships and communication skills are superb.
Dave Drinkwater - Sr. Project Superintendent
Dave has over 40 years of direct field experience culminating in supervising the most complex project with ease. He is very proactive in recognizing construction issues prior to their inception. His vast knowledge of the Building Codes serves our clients and Architects well. Dave has worked on projects ranging from small T.I. built out to project in excess of $10,000,000. Representative clients are Automobile dealerships, supermarkets, educational facilities and government work. Dave holds his MA superintendant license.
John Sheehan - Project Manager
John has a unique blend of both field and office construction experience for over 25 years. He has traveled throughout the United States for retailers such as Apple, Abercrombie & Fitch, Kay Jewelers and Gilly Hicks Concept stores. John's strengths are advanced computer skills and an excellent record for timely project completions. John has experience as both a licensed superintendant and project manager for renovation and ground-up projects. He has attended Wentworth Institute of Technology for construction & engineering courses.
Nicole Modestino - Project Manager
Nicole recently joined Caisson after working in various project management positions for both General Contractors and Utility companies for the past 15 years. She has excellent administrative and computer skills and is extremely familiar with a plethora of software programs. Nicole's paramount attribute is that of thoroughness and documentation, all in an effort to protect the Clients interest throughout the construction process.
Jason Drinkwater - Project Superintendant
Jason possesses over 20 years construction experience commencing as a laborer, carpenter and for the last 10 years, a project superintendant. His positive attitude and strong client relationships has been a mainstay for our repeat business. Jason has built athletic clubs, supermarkets, office fit outs and performed complicated structural renovations.
Shane Logan - Project Superintendant
Shane, a carpenter by training, has demonstrated his planning abilities and construction acumen that he has been a project superintendant for the company for the past 5 years. His projects range from small interior renovations to a multi-million dollar projects (such as the Children's Day care center in Cambridge). Our clients appreciate Shane's strong work ethic and drive in all projects he works on.
Jerry Brewer - Project Superintendant
Jerry has been with Caisson for over 7 years in varying degrees of responsibility. He is a carpenter by training and has been a competent MA Licensed superintendant on several projects. His experience includes both renovations and ground-up projects. He just completed a difficult, multi-phased exterior façade renovation of a shopping center in the greater Boston area. Jerry receives accolades from both the architect and owners representatives on all projects he works on.
